My name is Bruno De Faveri. I was born in 1963. I started taking photographs of nature in all of its forms in 1990, after having seen some photographers of the National Geographic Society in action in Madagascar.
The decade from 1990 to 2000 was a period of trials, attempts, experiments as well as acquisitions.
From 2001 on I have given a more professional turn to my work, thanks to the collaboration with specialized magazines, with researchers, and with authors of books and guides about nature.
I have traveled and taken photographs in many parts of the world (from Ireland to Florida, from Africa to Svalbard), but my heart always takes me along the shores of the Scrivia river, on which banks I live, and to the marvelous corners of Vigezzo Valley, the place of my origins.
